Blogging to You

Hi! It's Christmas Eve (and Christmas Day on my side of the globe). I'm sure that you are with your families and friends. I appreciate that you have taken the time to read this post. As a token of my appreciation, I will make this post short so as not to take too much of your time.

I don't have a laptop with me right now and I'm using my smartphone to do this post. So I can't open the files in my flashdisk to check the dates of each of the poems I ever created. I'm not good at remembering dates. I will just tell you a bit about the poems I published this December.

"Dreamy Rhum" is about a drunk person who is imagining things. It's inspired by a lack of inspiration. Yes, it happens.

"The Second Conflict" marks the beginning of my next batch of works. The first batch is all vivid imagery and Odysseus. The second batch is about romance with villains.

"Tormented" is about the times when I got in trouble for saying something shocking.

These are the only poems I published this December.

By the way, I would like to inform you that I am now writing for Channillo. The brilliant Kara Klotz, founder of Channillo, became my Twitter Follower. She invited me to write for Channillo. I am most honored to be a writer for this exciting website and I'm delighted to have a place for my poems. Please check out my new poems on Channillo. (I'm sorry, my series cover photo isn't quite the right size. I'll fix it when I get my laptop back.)

And that's all for today. May you have a joyous, happy, loving, and safe Christmas. Party hard and party smart on the last hours of 2016. And Advanced Happy, Happy New Year! Blog to you again in 2017!

Tormented

Can I say what you like?
O how can I do that?
How when you are not mine?
Say when can I say what;
You get me all confused.
I'm not at all amused.

You want me to suffer,
Maybe that's what you want.
It makes you feel better.
O how you make me rant
'Bout things I shouldn't say,
Things I won't do today.

But I did it, said it;
I feel my heart still beats,
So, please, just let me leave.

You make me sing sad songs
Just like Andromache,
But even who go wrong
Are poets who can see
That there is life in pain,
Although it's all we gain.

The Second Conflict

He was waiting right there,
Squinting eyes under sun,
So beautiful and fair,
Sharp as a lonely gun.
Yeah, I know he's deadly,
But there's love that's lovely.

He reaches out a hand,
And here I give him mine
In this huge and green land,
Where all things stay in line,
For I've lost tragedy
And I am not ready

To write another thing
Of what the poet sings
On a flying bird's wings.

So I go on with him
In his beautiful world,
Loving each of his sins
On a New Year's Day cold.
This is my new story
In a lack of worry.

Dreamy Rhum

Somewhere among the leaves,
All around the huge tree,
The round bees who believe,
The small birds that fly free,
In the cool skies of blue,
Like the soft voice of you

Like a lover's one touch,
Sweet music that has stopped,
But the world can still watch,
Like this cat on my lap,
Oh, where are you, my love?
Please, they're waiting for us.

Like perfume in the air,
You will really search where,
The source of something fair.

The flavor on my tongue,
Is now all very gone.
I wished the phone had rung,
For this isn't so fun,
Waiting for you to come,
Searching in dreamy rhum.
