NaPoWriMo 2016 - 8th Day

A Message to the Flower

Warm vibrancy of pink,
Listen to the trees hum.
Don't you let this heart sink
As grounds vibrate like drum
To songs of gushing wind.
I wonder who has sinned
For this sun to vanish
And cast shadows on us.
There won't be flood, I wish,
Those reflecting like glass,
Pulling like my children,
Pulling you like oxen.
And your petals turn dark,
Dark pink and almost red.
You bob in winds like mark
Of sunny days that led
To unfortunate days
Like this, the chilly grace
Of mighty Nature's wrath.
These mood swings sure don't last.
With benefit of bath
As crystals soak the dust,
Heavy are they from the sky,
Your little friends might die.
So hide under my shade
As they get relentless.
They're pelting down the glade.
All them plants are helpless.
My friend, this isn't good,
But nah, don't you still brood
For everything don't last,
Powerful storms pass
To weaken in dust,
Or find new ones to sass.
So though all the trees wail,
Sailors collect their sail
The dust swims in waters,
Friendly earthworms get drowned,
More liters and liters
Invading the whole ground,
Soaking up your dear roots,
Cutting up their dear fruits
Shaking this way and that,
Winds screaming like women,
Don't you sleep, don't you bat,
Twisting, evil omen,
To better pull you up!
You think this will not stop.
But one day, they will leave
Like they never were here.
One day, you will believe
That there's nothing to fear
As the sun gazes back
On this very same track
Where you beckon like love,
As vibrant as always.
All the beauty you have,
Welcoming more bright days
With your gift to the world.
Your name never gets old.
So hold on to the Earth,
Dance with this fast music,
For this has been your birth,
This whole life that you seek
Has been made to survive,
Keep holding on and strive.
