Signal #5

|
Charlene Delfin

Swaying shadows of the leaves
With the background of gray sky.
A chill down her spine it gives.
She shivers in the dark night,
Feeling scary clouds swirling.
Quietly sit still, thinking.

A typhoon is approaching
Like an arrogant monster.
Human race has this choosing;
To fight, or run to deter.
We can’t be saved by no mage
In a nation on the edge.

The rain is now showering.
Go upstairs to fix the roof.
Get the batteries charging.
Hurry, let’s stuck up on food,
‘Cause we’ll stay indoors for long.
While the monster storm grows strong.
