What's Not Blue Anymore is Black

|
Charlene Delfin

Have you seen the seaweeds at sea?
They are dead, and they are so grey.
They are not so well; unlike then,
When the sea was alive and wide.
There were smooth waves and lots of food.
Cool winds and subdued blue of sea.
White splashes, and people survived.
There came trash, wasps, and cigarettes.
The bay became grayish; no faith.
When it caused sickness; more of them.
What’s not blue anymore is black.
Will it be good in the future?
