The Right to Know

|
Charlene Delfin

It is the rule for her to shut up.
Seeing what she’s not supposed to tell.
This line goes blank ‘cause it’s covered up.
Quiet, not because she can’t speak well.
She’s not supposed to reveal the rule
That tells she should not reveal to fools.

His job is to speak up for people;
Reporting every detail he sees;
Expose the secrets. It’s not simple.
Information catches who do flee.
The citizens have the right to know,
And make the communication grow.

Silence is better than noise,
But we can’t live without noise.
Quiet is as hard as loud.
